Job summary

Creation Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor in Rochester, NY to lead a production team and meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets. You will drive staffing, coaching, and cost control within your area while ensuring compliance with standards and EHS&S policies.

You will collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and maintenance to resolve operational challenges and improve performance across shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in manufacturing, operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2–3 years of manufacturing experience with prior leadership or supervisory responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of production workflows, KPIs, labor planning, and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity cost targets.
• Ensure adherence to operational and quality standards to maintain compliant production.
• Manage staffing, output, on-time delivery, and standard compliance within the area or shift.
• Resolve moderately complex production and personnel issues to maintain operational performance.
• Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, supply chain, PM, and maintenance to resolve challenges.
• Communicate production performance, issues, and improvement plans to management and cross-functional teams.
• Directly manage production employees to ensure performance, coaching, and accountability.
• Manage labor utilization, overtime, scrap, and rework to control costs and improve efficiency.
• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy, secure, and environmentally responsible workplace per EHS&S policies.
