QED Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Rochester, NY. You will lead and grow the Manufacturing Engineering team, guiding process development, tool readiness, and product readiness for current production and future growth.
The role requires hands-on leadership, deep manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Management to deliver robust, compliant manufacturing and continuous improvement
Competenze
- B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Optical Engineering with 10+ years in manufacturing engineering.
- Proven leadership managing manufacturing engineers or teams.
- Experience with complex mechanical/optomechanical systems and production.
- Strong knowledge of CAD tools and manufacturing documentation.
Mansioni
- Lead and develop Manufacturing Engineering team including hiring and performance management.
- Define and standardize manufacturing processes and KPIs.
- Drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and data-driven improvements.
- Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Management on NPI and lifecycle.
