QED Technologies in Rochester, NY seeks a senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team, driving process improvements and readiness for new product launches.

The role requires hands‑on expertise with manufacturing technologies, Lean/Six Sigma, and strong cross‑functional collaboration to achieve operational excellence and quality across product lines.

Competenze

• Minimum B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Optical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in engineering with 5+ in leadership or project ownership.
• Experience with complex mechanical, optomechanical, and electromechanical systems.

Mansioni

• Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team, including hiring and performance management.
• Define and continuously improve manufacturing processes and KPIs.
• Partner with Quality on validation and corrective actions.
• Oversee new product introduction and manufacturing readiness.
