Job summary

FANUC America Corporation is seeking a Supervisor for West Campus in Rochester Hills, MI. You will lead daily projects, monitor milestones, ensure safety and quality, and adjust manpower to meet customer needs.

The role requires five years in manufacturing with leadership experience, ERP familiarity, and strong coaching skills. Overtime, early shifts, and extended hours may be needed to support production demands.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of experience in manufacturing with proven leadership abilities
Experience working with ERP systems to support business operations
Proven ability to supervise, coach, and mentor team members and manage attendance and discipline
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse ranges of individuals
Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

Lead by example, coach technicians, recognize achievements, and document performance concerns
Address technicians' concerns, motivate productivity, and maintain focus
Provide input into scheduling to ensure correct skill sets on each activity
Monitor and improve processes, performance output, and working conditions
Establish and maintain documented procedures and work instructions; audit technical performance
Perform in-process audits and final quality inspections to ensure product and workmanship meet FAC standards
Ensure safe work environment and compliance with MIOSHA, Federal, and FAC safety requirements
Assess training needs and maintain technician training plans including cross-training
Stretch technicians into expanded roles via assignments and documented reviews
