Job summary

Itape in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily production, coordinate shift activities, and ensure safe operation of equipment on rotating 12‑hour shifts. This exempt role reports to the Operations Manager and focuses on meeting production and quality goals.

The ideal candidate brings a engineering- or related-field degree, at least two years of manufacturing leadership, strong communication, and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous leadership experience preferred (Team Lead or supervisor).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
• Ability to supervise a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and direct daily production operations to meet shift goals.
• Coordinate information flow on product movement and workforce needs.
• Coach and motivate employees to achieve safety and quality objectives.
• Lead hourly employees via the certification system.
• Participate in hiring hourly staff.
• Assess performance and manage promotions/transfers.
• Drive cost reductions and process improvements.
• Oversee safety, housekeeping, and compliance with rules.
• Handle payroll hours approvals and production reporting.
• Support training, site projects, and safety programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
