Job summary

Itape seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor-1st Line in North Carolina to lead daily production, ensure safe operation of equipment, and drive efficiency. You will coordinate with maintenance, quality, and scheduling to meet shift goals while coaching an hourly workforce.

The role requires a engineering degree or related experience, strong communication, and Lean/ERP familiarity. This is a hands-on leadership position with responsibilities spanning planning, coaching, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing leadership role or equivalent.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and coaching abilities.
• Experience with Lean concepts and ERP/MRP environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and direct daily production operations to meet goals.
• Coach and develop hourly staff; oversee safety and housekeeping.
• Address production problems and coordinate with maintenance and QA.
• Manage payroll hours, reporting, and related admin tasks.
• Support hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
