Job summary

IPG is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee rotating 12-hour shifts in our Operations department. This exempt, salaried position focuses on achieving production and quality goals while ensuring safe operation of equipment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, at least 2 years of manufacturing leadership, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Lean Six Sigma is highly preferred and you'll lead and develop hourly staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Leadership experience in roles such as Team Lead or supervisor preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
• Ability to supervise fast-paced industrial environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and direct daily production operations.
• Coordinate production flow and address material shortages or equipment issues.
• Coach and develop hourly employees and lead certification efforts.
• Participate in hiring and performance assessments for production staff.
• Identify cost reductions and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Oversee safety, housekeeping, and compliance with procedures.
• Handle payroll hours approvals and related administrative tasks.
