Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required or preferred.
  • Experience leading a team and coordinating production activities.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations for medical device manufacturing, GMPs, Lean manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Directs day-to-day production activities and supervises the workforce.
  • Coordinates scheduling and sets priorities to meet production goals.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and supports disciplinary processes as needed.
  • Mentors and empowers team members to achieve success and aligns goals with business objectives.
  • Maintains safety programs and 6S practices; ensures regulatory compliance.

Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of employees, coordinating work assignments to meet production schedules, evaluating department and individual performance, and ensures compliance with specific regulations and policies.

Responsibilities
  • Directs the day-to-day activities of the production operation,
  • Coordinates and supervises the daily production activities,
  • daily scheduling for work force and set priorities to team to ensure task completion
  • Actively builds relationships across functions/businesses that bring value to the company, encouraging the participation and perspectives of all team members, regardless of background; mentors and empowers others to achieve success
  • Has in-depth knowledge of work processes and tools, maintaining 6S company standards and managing safety programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve safety, quality, and productivity metrics/goal
  • Ensures that accurate attendance/PTO records and scheduling are maintained
  • Completes detailed accurate performance evaluations of all direct reports
  • Maintains general responsibility for disciplinary process in the area of counseling, oral and written warnings; insures a productive work climate in the production operation
  • Work on special projects as defined per business for each area of operation.
  • Applies expertise to solve standard and non-standard problems within own area
  • Aligns individual goals for self and others with work area/functional goals
  • Perform duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by the Company, Local, and State and Federal provisions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in related field, preferred
  • Understanding of FDA regulations for medical device manufacturing, GMPs, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing tools, preferred
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs
  • Prior experience managing and leading a team, with a strong ability to motivate, coach, develop others, and collaborate effectively
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and demonstrate a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
  • A self‑starter willing to initiate beneficial projects for the site
