Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Manufacturing Leader to oversee all site assembly and production operations, driving KPI attainment, budgets, and quality standards. You will manage P&L and staff, develop plant goals, and optimize workforce planning based on demand and customer insights.

Responsibilities include enforcing GMP-based quality systems, promoting operational excellence, and aligning manufacturing strategies with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of experience in manufacturing leadership or related field.
  • Preferred fluent English proficiency.
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferred solid and proven management and leadership experience to include leading a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees administration of all assembly and production operations at a single site.
  • Manages attainment of production goals and KPIs, including budgets and quality standards.
  • Responsible for P&L and wellbeing of the department.
  • Develops and achieves plant-specific goals and budgets.
  • Evaluates workforce planning based on customer insights, orders, and site demand.
  • Ensures adherence to quality SOPs; collaborates with quality team to mitigate risks.
  • Promotes Operational Excellence and teamwork to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Develops and executes manufacturing and Operational Excellence strategies aligned with company objectives.

Job description

What Manufacturing Management contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Manufacturing Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Manufacturing function.

Responsibilities
  • Oversees administration of all assembly and production operations at a single site
  • Manages the attainment of production goals and KPI’s including production goals, strategic initiatives, headcount and quality standard
  • Responsible for P&L and wellbeing of the department
  • Develops and works to achieve plant specific goals and budgets
  • Evaluates, adjusts, and manages workforce planning/ staffing levels based on customer insights, orders, and site demand
  • Ensures adherence to all quality standard operating procedures through collaboration with the quality team to identify and mitigate quality risk factors. Administers company policies and procedures
  • Promotes Operational Excellence and emphasizes an environment that fosters teamwork, due diligence, and commitment to satisfy customer requirements
  • Develops and executes manufacturing and Operational Excellence strategies to achieve overall Company strategic objectives
  • Approves, influences, and oversees the annual expense budgets for areas of responsibility

  • Adhere and ensures compliance of GMP based Quality Systems requirements for medical devices and medicinal product

  • Responsible for performance management and development of direct reports including written performance appraisals

  • Manages department operations and supervises professional employees, front line supervisors and/or business support staff
  • Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals

  • Interacts with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior management
  • Interactions normally involve resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects
  • Gains consensus from various parties involved

Anticipated salary range: $76,300 - $126,440 Bonus eligible: Yes
