Job summary

LHH is partnering with a long standing client in Trumbull, CT to support growth in hands-on manufacturing. The Production Manager will lead scheduling, coordinate with planners and manufacturing staff, and ensure on-time output at their on-site operation.

This role emphasizes translating sales demand into production plans, managing capacity across sites with corrugates, foams, and wood, and leveraging Sage X3 to optimize work orders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Production Management overseeing site and people performance.
• Experience with manufacturing planning on the shop floor and ERP systems.
• Ability to translate demand into production plans and manage materials and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule manufacturing work, ensuring efficient workflow and current orders.
• Oversee Planners and Manufacturing staff.
• Use Sage X3 for work orders and collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Procurement.
• Convert incoming demand into production plans, prioritizing capacity and material needs.

LHH is partnering with a long standing client to support their growth in the hands on manufacturing industry! They are looking for a Production Manager to add to their team in Trumbull, CT. This position will be on site and is open due to their their increased production at their new site! They have been growing year over year and offer a great culture with opportunities for growth!

• Manages manufacturing schedules, ensuring efficient workflow across the manufacturing process and current work orders.
• Overseeing Planners and Manufacturing staff
• Using company ERP system ( Sage X3 ) for work orders, and collaborating with Sales, Customer Service, and Procurement to resolve issues and optimize output for customer orders
• Translating the demand coming in to the production plans (sales order to work order to the production floor) – understanding priorities and capacity of the site (their sites have corrugates, foams, wood, etc) so material ordering and inventory control experience is important

Requirements:

• Ideally 2+ years in Production Management overseeing site and people performance
• True manufacturing planning industry experience - shop floor, boots on the ground, and ERP experience
• Self motivated and desire to grow, is non-complacent, and strives to advance themselves AND the company together
