Job summary

Adecco Group is seeking a Site Manager to lead a large shift on a major site. You will supervise supervisors, technicians, and operators, ensuring adherence to procedures, quality standards, and safety while driving performance metrics.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong analytical and communication skills, and a track record of process improvement using Lean/Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years supervisory/management experience of production staff
• Clear written and verbal communication across levels
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff and management
• Strong problem solving, organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to identify problem areas and recommend improvements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Docs
• Experience with manufacturing/process management (5S, Lean, Six Sigma)
• Focus on process/continuous improvement
• Experience with data processing, including Macro writing
• Understanding of digitization or scaling operations
• PMP/PMI experience or certification
• Automotive or other manufacturing experience related to managing complex processes/diverse staff
• Experience tracking metrics or enforcing performance for a large team

Responsibilities

• Drive production staff performance by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising results
• Coach and train entry level employees
• Maintain staff by training and developing personal growth opportunities
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing standards
• Ensure operation of equipment by coordinating repairs and evaluating new tech
• Provide operational information by compiling, initiating, sorting and analyzing production data
• Maintain safe and clean work environment and ensure policy compliance; operate with complex spreadsheets
