Job summary

The Adecco Group seeks a Site Manager to lead a shift on a large site operation, guiding supervisors and technicians. You will set expectations, coach staff, and ensure safe and efficient production while maintaining quality and continuous improvement.

Strong communication across all levels is essential. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 1–3 years of supervisory experience, and familiarity with manufacturing processes and data-driven improvement methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 year of supervisory/ management experience of production staff.
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and orally with all levels.
• Able to interact with Senior Management and HR; strong presentation skills.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to identify problem areas and improve.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office and/or Google Docs.
• Experience with manufacturing or process management (5S, Lean, Six Sigma).
• 5+ years of supervisory/management experience of production staff.
• Focus on process or continuous improvement skills.
• Experience with data processing, including Macro writing.
• Knows concepts of digitization or scaling operations.
• PMP/PMI experience or certification.
• Automotive or manufacturing experience if related to complex processes.
• Experience tracking metrics or enforcing performance for a large team.

Responsibilities

• Drive production staff performance by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising results.
• Coach, counsel, discipline, motivate, encourage and train entry level employees.
• Maintain staff by training employees; and developing personal growth opportunities.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repair; evaluate new equipment and techniques.
• Provide operational information by compiling, initiating, sorting and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
