Job description

Manufacturing Shipping Technician

Compensation: Starting pay of $19.00-23.50/hr + tri-annual performance-based bonuses!

Location: Minneapolis, KS

Responsibilities:
  • Receive, package, label, and prepare product orders for shipment. Prioritize product output based on customer demand, lead time, and sales forecast. Assist in production finishing processes to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Sales, and Purchasing teams to ensure accurate, complete, and timely shipment of customer orders.
  • Verify inventory reports against physical stock counts.
  • Investigate discrepancies, notify management, and support resolution efforts.
  • Meet with Supervisors and Managers to discuss progress and compile reports on production, quality control, and inventory.
  • Operate powered material handling equipment for inventory transport, unloading, and loading.
  • Follow standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate mechanical and basic office equipment.
  • Capacity to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Regularly lift 20-30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Operate powered equipment (Forklift, Cranes, etc.) with in-house training provided.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, team player.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Reliable and committed.
  • Interest in career development and learning.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability to changing conditions.
  • Interpersonal and leadership qualities desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Typing and 10-key data-entry skills preferred.
  • Experience working in high-performance teams.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
Work Environment:

This role involves working in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to high temperatures, moving machinery, heights, and confined spaces.
