Summary: Do you love working with customers to solve plumbing issues but want to reduce physical demands and windshield time? Do you have great diagnostic skills and can help customers understand their options? Are you excited to work from home using technology to interact with customers and triage issues from DIY solutions to traditional service visits?

Frontdoor is seeking a Plumbing Technician to perform remote diagnosis and triage. Using Streem technology, you will engage with customers via live audio and video to see, triage, and resolve plumbing system issues. Your role will empower customers to understand repairs they can do themselves and identify cost-effective options if they cannot.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct remote diagnostic and triage appointments using Streem technology
• Provide technical support through multi-channel interactions for plumbing needs
• Guide customers step-by-step to understand their issues and options
• Document interactions, including system details, actions, and next steps
• Maintain knowledge of current plumbing standards, codes, and DIY procedures
• Participate in process improvements and new system or procedure development
• Assist in growing sales, acquiring new accounts, and building relationships
• Analyze data to identify market opportunities and develop strategies
• Serve as a trusted advisor on best practices and cost efficiency

Qualifications

Minimum Education, Licensure, and Certification: High School diploma or GED required; Journeyman and/or Master Plumber preferred.

Experience: 5+ years of residential plumbing service experience required.
