Job summary

Personnel Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and oversee safety programs in a manufacturing environment. This role emphasizes OSHA compliance and reducing workplace hazards.

You will conduct inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits, lead incident investigations, and provide new-hire safety orientation and ongoing training. Collaboration with maintenance and operations is required to address hazards on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related safety experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Experience with accident investigations, risk assessments, and safety training.
• Experience developing safety policies and procedures.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management systems.
• Safety certification preferred.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position requiring regular work in both an office and manufacturing environment. The position may require standing and walking for extended periods, climbing, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Salary: $60,000-$90,000 based on experience and qualifications
