Job summary

Risus Talent Partners LLC is seeking aSafety Manager to lead our workplace safety programs in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will coach leaders on risk reduction, perform floor inspections, and drive corrective actions to sustain a proactive safety culture.

The role requires strong OSHA knowledge, incident investigation skills, and the ability to manage documentation, training, and regulatory compliance on site in MA/CT.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive safety experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, incident investigation, and workers’ compensation.
• Experience with machine safety, lockout/tagout, and emergency preparedness.
• OSHA 30-hour certification strongly preferred; CSP/ASP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety programs and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.
• Conduct inspections, observations, audits, and job hazard analyses to identify risks.
• Investigate incidents, assign corrective actions, and track effectiveness.
• Own OSHA recordkeeping and safety documentation, including training and audits.
• Develop and deliver safety orientation and ongoing training for employees and contractors.
• Collaborate with Operations on machine guarding, LOTO, ergonomics, and PPE.
• Coordinate with HR on workers’ compensation and return-to-work efforts.
• Lead emergency response planning, drills, and safety communications.
• Engage the site safety committee and drive safety culture across shifts.
