Employment Solutions of New York, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead SHE programs in a manufacturing environment in Wallingford, CT. You will manage regulatory compliance, industrial hygiene, health programs, training, emergency preparedness, and incident investigations to enhance site safety.

Collaborate with Operations to improve safety culture, 5S, Gemba walks, audits, and action tracking; experience in chemical manufacturing and working with regulatory bodies is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, chemistry, occupational safety/health, or related field.
• 5–7 years of SHE/EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, regulations, and audit requirements.
• Experience with regulatory agencies, auditors, and regulatory officials.

Responsabilités

• Ensure OSHA compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Lead industrial hygiene monitoring, health programs, and documentation.
• Drive safety culture, risk reduction, and 5S/Gemba initiatives.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Develop and maintain safety procedures, training materials, and regulatory documents.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness planning and site readiness.
