Job summary

Molex, LLC is seeking an Advanced Process Engineer to join our team in Hudson, WI. You will be part of a small, highly experienced engineering team responsible for partnering with R&D and product development teams to define manufacturing strategies for new products and technologies.

You will evaluate manufacturability, identify and mitigate launch risks, and establish scalable manufacturing approaches that support successful commercialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality.
• 6+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting NPI, manufacturing development, product commercialization, or advanced manufacturing engineering.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, and product development teams to bring products from concept into manufacturing.
• Experience working with automated systems to identify opportunities and/or program new functions to improve process efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D and product development teams early in the design process to assess manufacturability and define manufacturing strategies for new products.
• Identify technical, operational, and supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans to improve product launch success.
• Lead manufacturing readiness activities from prototype builds through production launch.
• Define process flows, equipment requirements, quality controls, validation plans, and operator training strategies to support scalable manufacturing.
• Serve as the primary manufacturing engineering contact for assigned development and commercialization programs.
• Lead technology, product, and process transfers from R&D and development locations into NPI and production manufacturing sites, ensuring manufacturing readiness, capability, and risk mitigation throughout commercialization.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Product Management, Procurement, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to drive successful product launches.
• Support existing manufacturing processes through problem solving, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Investigate manufacturing and quality issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and document outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing capability, automation, productivity, and cost performance, and develop implementation plans to support business objectives.
• Understand, support, and contribute to Six Sigma, ISO, Environmental, and Health & Safety Management Systems by following established policies and procedures.
• Serve as a key contributor during customer and industry audits.
