Job summary

Molex, LLC in Hudson, WI is seeking an NPI Process Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products destined for our Hudson plant and other facilities. You will partner with Design Engineering, Product Management, Quality, and Operations to document flow, train operators, and lead transfers to high‑volume plants, potentially internationally traveled.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience implementing new manufacturing methods including training others.
Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA & DFM documentation.
Experience working with automated systems to identify opportunities and/or program new functions.
Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally 20-30% of the time

Responsibilities

Develop and document manufacturing process flow, work instructions, workmanship standard, and conduct operator training.
Collaborate with Design Engineering on DFMEA and DFM as required per product type.
Collaborate with Design Engineering on DFMEA, PFMEA & DFM documentation as required.
Lead implementation of PFMEA as required per product type.
Lead effective product/process transfers to high-volume Molex plants, possibly including international travel.
Launch new product lines into low volume manufacturing site.
Support existing manufacturing processes through problem solving, optimization, and continuous improvements.
Investigate, identify root causes, apply corrective actions, and document quality issues in manufacturing.
Communicate with NPI team including Design Engineering, Product Management, Procurement, Quality, Supplier, etc.
Identify automated process opportunities and develop proposals for implementation/qualification.
Contribute to ISO, EH&S, Six Sigma compliance and follow policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Be a key contributor for customer and industry audits
