Job summary

Molex, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to join our team in Hudson, WI. You may not see our name on the shelves, but our electronic solutions are inside the products you use every day.

In this role you'll be focused on developing, documenting and improving manufacturing processes for both new and current products that will be built in our new Hudson WI plant, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience implementing new manufacturing methods including training others.
• Experience with automated systems to identify opportunities and/or program new functions.

Responsibilities

• Development and document manufacturing process flow, work instructions, workmanship standard, and conduct operator training.
• Support existing manufacturing processes through problem solving, optimizing, and continuous improvements.
• Investigate, identify root cause, apply corrective action, and document quality issues that occur in manufacturing.
• Communicate and collaborate with our NPI team including Design Engineering, Product Management, Procurement, Quality, Supplier, etc.
• Lead product/process transfers to high-volume Molex plants which could include international travel.
• Identify automated process opportunities and other cost-saving opportunities; develop proposals for implementation/qualification and communicate with stakeholders.
• Understand and contribute to Six Sigma, ISO and EH&S management systems by following policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Be a key contributor for customer and industry audits
