Job summary

Molex, LLC is seeking an Advanced Process Engineer to join our team in Hudson, WI. You will partner with R&D and product development to define manufacturing strategies for new products and technologies, evaluating manufacturability and mitigating launch risks to enable scalable production.

You will also lead transfers from development to production while collaborating across R&D, NPI, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality.
Six+ years of manufacturing experience.
Experience with NPI, manufacturing development, or advanced manufacturing engineering.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, and product development teams.
Experience working with automated systems to identify opportunities and/or program new functions to improve process efficiency.

Responsibilities

Partner with R&D and product development teams early in the design process to assess manufacturability and define manufacturing strategies for new products.
Identify technical, operational, and supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans to improve product launch success.
Lead manufacturing readiness activities from prototype builds through production launch.
Define process flows, equipment requirements, quality controls, validation plans, and operator training strategies to support scalable manufacturing.
Serve as the primary manufacturing engineering contact for assigned development and commercialization programs.
Lead technology, product, and process transfers from R&D to NPI and production sites, ensuring readiness and risk mitigation.
Collaborate with Design Engineering, Product Management, Procurement, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to drive successful product launches.
Support existing manufacturing processes through problem solving, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Investigate manufacturing and quality issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and document outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing capability, automation, productivity, and cost performance.
