Job summary

Nelson Global Products Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager in Indianapolis, IN to lead plant quality operations, drive systemic improvements, and ensure IATF compliance. You will manage APQP/PPAP activities, lead 8D/A3 problem solving, and coordinate with OEM customers to meet quality KPIs.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, data-driven decision making, and coaching teams toward a culture of prevention and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality assurance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–8 years of manufacturing quality experience with leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, QMS, 8D, PFMEA, Control Plans.
• Experience with OEM customers and overseeing quality issues.
• Proven ability to lead problem-solving and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily quality operations across all shifts.
• Drive improvements in plant and customer quality performance (PPM, KPIs).
• Lead resolution of customer issues with timely corrective actions (8D/A3).
• Drive systemic problem solving to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain containment, calibration, inspections, and process controls.
