Job summary

Nelson Global is seeking a Quality Engineer to support plant quality performance, drive systemic corrective actions, and prevent defects through strong process control and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and customers to address issues and ensure robust quality systems.

The role emphasizes leading CAPAs, PPAP submissions, change control, and NPI quality support. A CQE or Six Sigma certification is a plus, with experience in IATF 16949 audits preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; manufacturing quality experience preferred.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, 8D, PFMEA, and Control Plans desired.
• Experience collaborating with customers to resolve quality issues and support IATF 16949 audits.

Responsibilities

• Support plant and customer quality performance (PPM, KPIs) through daily quality activities.
• Lead investigation of internal and external quality issues and drive systemic corrective actions (8D/A3).
• Lead customer corrective actions with root cause analysis and sustainable actions; document lessons learned.
