Job summary

Melaleuca in Idaho Falls is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations, schedule staff, train employees, and ensure GMP compliance. The role focuses on maintaining high quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with the Master Scheduler to optimize finishing schedules and ensure alignment with regulatory standards, while supporting staff in achieving personal and professional goals.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience reading batch numbers and labels.
• 2–3 years manufacturing experience and 2–3 years supervisory/management.
• Knowledge of SOPs and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee order placement and inventory of supplies.
• Approve vacation requests and manage staffing levels.
• Ensure GMPs are followed and quality standards maintained.
• Train and retrain employees in responsibilities and duties.
• Maintain training and attendance records for department staff.
• Conduct daily scheduling meetings and monitor productivity.
• Coordinate with Production Manager on communications and policy changes.
• Ensure safety procedures are adhered to by department personnel.
