Job description

Position: Manufacturing Project Coordinator

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid)

Duration: Long term contract (approx. 3 years)

Summary

Our Medical Device Customer is looking to add a Project Coordinator within that Manufacturing team based in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall organization, tracking, and coordination of various Informational Technology and Operational Technology projects. This is a great opportunity to join a Manufacturing team at a Fortune 500 company at an exciting time of expansion and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure close collaboration with manufacturing and quality stakeholders across the matrix structure
  • Projects and Initiatives: lead and collaborate in cross-functional projects/initiatives
  • Sets up and maintains tools, mechanisms to track project schedules and risk/contingency reporting
  • Engage and facilitate the co-creation of solutions with IT and Manufacturing Partnerships
  • Ensure development of business cases for all relevant business requests in his/her area of responsibility and present proposals to the Business Partners.
  • Assists in developing ambiguous and non-standard business requirements into detailed requirements, solutions and procedures meeting current business and technical requirements
  • Identify and take ownership of key changes in functional or business processes and operations due to system updates or procedural adjustments, executing the necessary modifications.
  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) and project teams to identify, define, collate, document, and communicate data changes and verification requirements.
  • You coordinate, execute, and report on local system test cases, including functional, integration, and user acceptance tests, within the relevant functional area

Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience in Project Management or Project Lead role
  • Working knowledge of document management and change management in a manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable working with SME’s developing requirements, design documents, and test documents
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities for data-driven end-to-end project optimization
  • Solid know-how regarding data preparation, visualization, presentation and optimization
  • Experience using common project management tools (ex: Jira, Smartsheet, Monday, Git)
  • Excellent leadership, effective communication, administrative and project management skills.
  • Strong computer software application skills
  • Experience and demonstrated success working in matrixed organizations
  • Strong team player, with a perspective that goes beyond his/her immediate area of responsibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Informatics, Business Administration, Business Analytics or other related field
