Responsibilities include providing overall administrative and technical direction for a large, complex project. This involves customer interface, client development, project scoping, estimating, scheduling, procurement, construction oversight, safety oversight, cost and progress monitoring, management, and reporting. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire construction effort to ensure compliance with design, budget, and schedule, interfacing with all stakeholders
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and standards within corporate boundaries; coordinate activities of all personnel involved
  • Monitor and control construction through on-site supervision; investigate issues and implement corrective actions; approve purchase requisitions and change requests
  • Ensure adherence to company, client, and project policies and standards; interpret policies as needed
  • Maintain project logs and documentation; support safety program implementation; direct planning, scheduling, and engineering functions
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interests while maintaining good client relationships
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed by regional management

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in construction management/engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in commercial or industrial construction, including design, finance, and management
  • Ability to apply innovative management techniques to maximize performance
  • Deep understanding of industry practices, standards, and their impact on projects; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; business-oriented mindset
  • Experience managing large-scale projects ($50M-$300M+), including data center, general construction, electrical, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects
  • Valid US driver’s license and passport; willingness to travel (~70%)

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Leadership and mentoring experience
  • Knowledge of construction laws, standards, and safety
  • Proven track record of safety and quality outcomes
  • Experience developing project strategies, plans, and budgets
