Aerotek is seeking a Manufacturing Production Associate for an onsite role in Albuquerque, NM. This contract-to-hire position offers 1st or 2nd shift and a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

The candidate will operate production machinery, handle materials, and perform assembly tasks in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety guidelines. Applicants should have 2+ years in manufacturing, be able to lift up to 50+ pounds occasionally, stand for long periods, and work effectively in a team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift regular amounts up to 30 pounds and occasionally 50+ pounds.
• Stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift.
• Basic math and reading comprehension to follow work orders and labels.
• Hands-on experience with production and assembly line equipment.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools safely.
• Experience with material handling including loading and unloading.
• Team-oriented with reliable attendance.
• Minimum 2+ years in a manufacturing setting; prior warehouse exposure helpful.

Job Description

The Production Associate on 1st shift supports manufacturing and warehouse operations by operating production machinery, handling materials, and performing assembly tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role requires regular lifting, extended periods of standing and walking, and the ability to work effectively as part of a motivated team while following written instructions and safety guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Ability to regularly lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Basic math skills to perform measurements, counts, and simple calculations.
• Reading knowledge and comprehension to follow written instructions, labels, and work orders.
• Proven ability to operate production and assembly line machinery.
• Experience with general production work, including assembly and cleaning tasks.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Material handling experience, including loading, unloading, and sorting products.
• Team-oriented mindset with motivation to work and contribute to group goals.
• At least 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.
• Familiarity with machine operating in a production line setting.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth industrial environment.
• Reliability and punctuality for consistent Monday–Friday 1st shift work.
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards in daily tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, NM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
