Mechanical Assembly Associate
Job Summary

The Mechanical Assembly Associate is responsible for performing basic mechanical assembly, labeling, inspection, and production reporting activities in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. This role requires following detailed instructions, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to all safety and security procedures while working under direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical assembly of components, assemblies, and subassemblies following standard operating procedures.
  • Follow detailed verbal and written work instructions to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Apply labels to products, parts, and assemblies using visual aids and established procedures.
  • Assemble inserted components manually while ensuring specifications are met.
  • Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and defects.
  • Use scanners for tracking materials, work orders, and finished products.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely during assembly processes.
  • Accurately record and report production output, work status, and any quality concerns.
  • Maintain compliance with company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.
  • Follow all security requirements and production protocols.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Supervisors and Line Managers.
  • Support additional production-related tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to inspect completed assemblies and identify defects or inconsistencies.
  • Basic experience using scanners and production tracking equipment.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 35 lbs regularly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
