Job summary

MAPEI Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a fast-paced manufacturing team and ensure on-time, quality production. You will organize resources, supervise staff, train operators, and collaborate with quality, safety, and regulatory teams to improve methods and cost control while maintaining a safe work environment.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, a four-year degree preferred, and at least one year of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or process-type environment is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; at minimum a High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient with computers and able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Organize resources and workflows to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Supervise production team members and ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment.
• Provide on-the-job training and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitor staffing levels and maintain manpower within authorized levels.
• Collaborate with quality, regulatory and reporting teams to support standards.
• Analyze operations for improvements in methods, tools, communication and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with production procedures, safety protocols and quality expectations.
• Follow all safety procedures, work rules and company policies.
