Job summary

MAPEI Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a fast-paced manufacturing team in Houston. You will organize workflows, supervise staff, and ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment while meeting production schedules and quality standards.

The role requires supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong computer skills, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Excellent communication is essential; shift options include day, evening, and night.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in manufacturing.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs; up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Strong computer skills and ability to work with ERP systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor staffing levels and maintain manpower within authorized limits.

Qualifications

You must be mechanically inclined and have experience in a manufacturing or process type of environment.
Bachelor’s (B.A.) degree from a four year College or University, strongly preferred.
At a minimum, require High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of 1-year supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.
You should be proficient and comfortable with computers.
Demonstrate proficient oral and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
You must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Forklift experience/certification is a plus.
Must be able to accommodate the designated shift hours: 1st shift (days), 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 am approx.) or a 3rd shift (10:00 pm to 6:30 am approx.)
