Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement. You will oversee hourly staff, coordinate with maintenance and engineering, and drive Lean initiatives to optimize throughput and reduce waste.

The role offers development toward future operations leadership with exposure to multiple manufacturing functions in the plant and requires strong leadership, problem-solving,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including internships.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production metrics, and workflow optimization.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, technical problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and quality compliance standards/systems.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery targets.
• Oversee hourly production employees and manage workflow.
• Partner with maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain to maintain safe, efficient operations.
• Conduct daily shift meetings, assign tasks, and ensure proper staffing.
• Monitor KPIs such as throughput, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency, and OEE.
• Maintain shift documentation and production records.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
• Support cross-functional projects to improve quality, cost, and throughput.
