Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead daily production operations, drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and collaborate with maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain to optimize efficiency in a plant environment.

This role supports future operations leadership development and requires hands-on leadership in a high-volume manufacturing setting in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including internships.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production metrics, and workflow optimization.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, technical problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and quality compliance standards/systems.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead production team with coaching to meet performance targets.
• Conduct daily shift meetings, assign tasks, and ensure staffing.
• Manage attendance, discipline, and performance evaluations.
• Promote a positive, safe, and collaborative team culture.
• Oversee daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Monitor KPIs such as throughput, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency, and OEE.
• Ensure schedules are followed and adjust assignments as needed.
• Maintain shift reports and production records.
• Enforce adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Support root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and reliability.
• Monitor inventory levels, material flow, and job changeovers.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment utilization and reduce setup time.
