Job summary

You will collaborate with Process Engineers, Production, EHS, Facilities, and Plant Leadership to improve process documentation and drive continuous improvement in a chemical manufacturing setting. This internship provides exposure to project planning, capital projects, and technical documentation while building practical engineering

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD or similar drawing software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering projects focused on process improvement and productivity.
• Review and update P&IDs through field observations and CAD revisions.
• Analyze operating data to identify productivity and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Update SOPs to reflect current site practices and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, EHS, and Leadership to report progress.
