Job summary

H.B. Fuller in Houston, TX is offering a Process Engineering Intern role within the Operations department.

You will support manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives by leading projects that improve equipment reliability and efficiency. You’ll collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, engineering and EHS teams to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and deliver sustainable improvements aligned with plant performance and business goals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Rising junior or senior in one of the listed disciplines.
• Comfortable working in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Assist maintenance and reliability projects, including preventive maintenance optimization, asset management, and critical spare parts strategies.
• Analyze production, maintenance, and quality data to identify trends, solve problems, and drive sustainable operational improvements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, equipment drawings, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Lead cross-functional projects across operations, maintenance, quality, and safety, presenting recommendations and results to site leadership.
• Implement continuous improvement tools to drive best practices within the Houston facility.
