Job summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Process Engineering Intern for the Fridley, MN facility. The role provides hands-on experience in a production environment, leading projects to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, safety, and product quality.

You will collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and EHS teams to identify opportunities and deliver sustainable improvements. The internship runs 12 weeks with mentoring and cross-functional exposure.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in one of the listed engineering disciplines.
  • Rising junior or senior standing in engineering.
  • Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Assist with maintenance and reliability projects including preventive maintenance optimization and asset management.
  • Analyze production, maintenance, and quality data to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation (SOPs, drawings, process diagrams).
  • Lead cross-functional projects across operations, maintenance, quality and safety with leadership presentation.
