Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II in Hauppauge, NY to develop and improve manufacturing methods, equipment, tooling, and processes for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency. You will partner with Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations on NPI and production support.

The ideal candidate has a strong electromechanical background, hands-on experience with production equipment and tooling, and proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks/Creo).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field.
• Minimum of two years of related manufacturing engineering experience.
• Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, processes, and production techniques.
• Investigate manufacturing issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product development and design-for-manufacturability activities.
