Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Senior Manufacturing and Process Development Engineer to own manufacturing deliverables for NPI and process development, including DFM/DFA input, robust processes, tooling, and cross-site standardization. The role is based in Fairview, NC with possible relocation and travel.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing or NPI, strong Lean experience, and proficiency in 3D CAD and MS Office, capable of leading technical workstreams in a remote, globally

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on manufacturing, process development, or new product introduction experience.
• Experience with machine, equipment design, development, and deployment into production.
• Hands-on problem solver with ability to manage technical workstreams independently.
• Strong Lean tools experience to improve manufacturing processes.
• Ability to operate in remote teams with broad geographic footprints.
• Excellent time management across multiple projects and launch timelines.
• Strong written and oral communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing readiness activities from concept to launch.
• Influence early product design through DFM/DFA input to improve manufacturability, quality, cost, and scalability.
• Develop robust manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment solutions for NPI/process development.
• Collaborate across TE sites to standardize practices and support qualification and launch.
