Job summary

TE Connectivity in Fairview, NC, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for New Product Development to own manufacturing deliverables for NPI projects and drive process development. This onsite role collaborates across TE sites, with travel as needed to support qualification and launch.

You will influence product design for manufacturability, develop robust processes and tooling, and lead manufacturing readiness from concept to launch in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related tech with 5+ years hands-on manufacturing or NPI experience.
• Experience designing and deploying machine, equipment, and process in production.
• Independent, remote-team capable, strong problem-solving across streams.
• Lean tools experience to improve manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing readiness activities from concept through launch.
• Influence early product design with DFM/DFA input to improve manufacturability, quality, cost, scalability.
• Develop robust manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment for new product introduction.
• Collaborate across TE manufacturing sites; travel 10–25% as needed.
