Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function at our manufacturing facility. This role drives development, support, and continuous improvement of processes, equipment, and systems to achieve operational excellence, safety, quality, and cost goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 7+ years in manufacturing engineering with a bachelor’s degree, or 5 years with a master’s, or 2 years with a PhD.
• Progressive manufacturing engineering and leadership experience; minimum 2 years of people management.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills; excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the manufacturing engineering team with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive process optimization initiatives focusing on safety, quality, productivity, capacity, and cost reduction.
• Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
• Lead capital projects from concept through implementation, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and OEE.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for manufacturing, equipment, and processes.
