Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• At least 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools and applications.
• Must read blueprints and parts specifications using the metric system.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain conformance to standards in SAP and ensure accurate labor rates.
• Maintain line layouts in AutoCAD; support tooling designs in CREO.
• Lead continuous improvement via DOE/8D and VA/VE analyses.
• Provide cost studies for new equipment, tools, and capital investments.
• Coordinate cost-reduction efforts with Engineering, Planning and Purchasing.
• Perform time studies and apply lean methods to improve productivity and ergonomics.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, control plans, and FMEA's.
• Assist in prototype support for new products and oversee equipment procurement.
