Job summary

The ZF Gainesville, LLC Production Supervisor will lead hourly teams in a safety-first manufacturing environment, ensuring quality products are produced and delivered on time. You will train, schedule, and coach workers to meet production targets while complying with lean and quality standards.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma (associate preferred), 2–4 years in manufacturing with leadership experience, and proficiency in MS Office; blueprint reading or CNC knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in a manufacturing environment; supervisor or leadership experience.
• English language competency required; strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; blueprint reading and basic CNC/assembly knowledge encouraged.
• Experience with TS16949, ISO14001, Lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kanban, Production & Strategic Planning) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and direct hourly employees to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Monitor production workflow, equipment, and resources to maintain productivity.
• Schedule work, set priorities, track progress, and report shift results.
• Lead and motivate teams to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to address material flow and process-control issues.
