Job summary

ZF Group in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes. You will develop standardized work, validate processes, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, 5+ years in high-volume automotive manufacturing, and experience with Lean Six Sigma, FMEA, control plans, and PLC programming.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
5+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment within the automotive industry.
Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methods.
Experience with FMEA and Control Plans.
CAD experience with Pro-E/Creo.
PLC programming experience.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost.
Develop standardized work and validate processes.
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to meet specifications and delivery goals.
Lead lean transformation initiatives and implement corrective actions.
