Job summary

ZF Group in Gainesville, GA, is seeking a Process Engineer to coordinate and implement engineering controls and systems activities for the Axle Drive Unit product lines. The role focuses on planning and executing process changes to maintain productivity and meet quality targets.

You will collaborate with ECM, Process Quality Engineering, and Assembly teams to define corrective actions, perform VA/VE analyses, and drive continuous improvements in lean environments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in blueprint reading and electrical schematics.
• Understanding of parts engineering specifications and tolerance requirements.
• Experience applying engineering controls and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement engineering controls and systems activities for Axle Drive Unit product lines.
• Provide input to ECM and implement new processes in Axle Drive Unit assembly.
• Develop and support Process/Assembly FMEA and corrective actions with quality engineering.
• Lead VA/VE efforts to improve safety, productivity, and ergonomics in assembly.
• Coordinate with systems suppliers and support to analyze and improve assembly efficiency.
• Assist with equipment installation, layouts, and feasibility studies.
• Train Systems Support on system function, adjustments, and repairs.
