We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer at our North Charleston, SC facility. The position supports a team of four engineers working in a 150,000 SQFT facility, focusing on innovative automation to serve internal and external customers.

What you can look forward to as a Manufacturing Engineer:

• Lead lean transformation and Continuous Improvement processes.
• Implement corrective actions to meet Zero PPM targets.
• Handle product changes related to assembly lines and document them.
• Update Machine System Design (MSD), workstation standards, and line side standards.
• Establish EHS FMEA for workstations and implement improvements; update and maintain APQP documentation within IQRM software.
• Purchase capital equipment for process expansion and improvements.
• Develop and maintain plant layouts to optimize production and inventory storage.
• Maintain areas of responsibility for manufacturing and assembly to ensure safety, quality, and productivity; improve profitability through automation and cycle time reduction.

Your profile as a Manufacturing Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5-6+ years of experience in high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with FMEA and Control Plans.
• PLC programming or related experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
