Job summary

Haworth Inc. in Big Rapids, Michigan is seeking a Plant Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to manufacturing operations.

You will coordinate routine production activities, maintain records, monitor data accuracy, and assist with production scheduling and inventory tasks. The role emphasizes adherence to procedures, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and contributing to safety and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Less than 1 year related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations by completing administrative tasks related to production and reporting requirements.
• Maintain training records and support scheduling of required plant training.
• Help maintain compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and operating procedures.
• Generate routine reports and communicate information to support manufacturing decision-making.
• Work with production, quality, materials, maintenance, and other support functions to address routine operational needs.
• Escalate issues that fall outside established procedures to appropriate leadership.
• Contribute to process improvements: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.
