Job summary

Haworth in Holland, MI seeks a Senior Engineering Technician to design and optimize manufacturing processes, using CAD and nesting tools. You will create 2D/3D drawings, develop ECOs, BOMs, and specs, and mentor colleagues while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires 3 years of related experience, ability to travel within Michigan up to 10%, and work on site in Holland. Strong problem solving and collaboration with suppliers are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent; relevant certification may help.
• Associate's degree may be preferred or required.
• 3 years of experience supporting engineering/manufacturing with CAD/tools.
• Must be able to work in Holland, MI and travel up to 10% within Michigan.
• Unrestricted right to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes and analyze flow.
• Conduct experiments and data analysis to optimize processes.
• Prepare ECOs, BOMs, and process specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, implement actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality and set up PAPs.
• Use advanced metrology to ensure conformance to specs.
• Provide training to production personnel on processes and quality standards.

Education
