Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Two or more years of purchasing or procurement experience in manufacturing.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• A positive attitude, initiative, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials, supplies, and services to support production and business operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and review production work orders to anticipate purchasing needs.
• Build strong relationships with vendors while negotiating pricing, quality, delivery, and service.
• Process purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time.
• Resolve shipment discrepancies and coordinate closely with Receiving and Production.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and approved supplier information.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Accounting, and other departments to meet customer commitments.
• Help identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and reduce costs.
