Job summary

US Bellows, a division of Piping Technology & Products, seeks a Manufacturing Planning & Scheduling Manager to transform scheduling and production planning. The role focuses on deriving reliable master production schedules, improving forecasts, and delivering visibility into capacity and bottlenecks on a fast-growing shop floor.

You will lead a hands-on, on-site effort with senior leadership backing, collaborating with engineering, purchasing, and production teams to scale manufacturing systems

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing experience with significant responsibility for planning or scheduling.
• Must have personally selected and implemented finite-capacity scheduling software in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in engineer-to-order, high-mix/low-volume operations or similarly complex manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to improve manufacturing systems during periods of growth.
• Strong understanding of capacity, bottlenecks, routings, and production workflows.
• Willingness to spend substantial time on the shop floor every day.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and implement finite-capacity scheduling software.
• Establish a realistic master production schedule considering labor, equipment, materials, and constraints.
• Improve accuracy of production forecasts and delivery commitments.
• Develop visibility into capacity, bottlenecks, and work-in-process.
• Build processes that scale with company growth and changing priorities.
