Job summary

National Machinery LLC is seeking a Production Planner for an on-site role to translate approved engineering data into controlled PDM/ERP records and coordinate shop-order plans for material availability and on-time completion.

You will review drawings, BOMs, routings, and engineering changes, maintain part records, and ensure data accuracy across planning functions while supporting revision control and data-quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability to read engineering drawings and multilevel BOMs.
• Experience with ERP systems and data integrity in PDM/PLM.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, problem solving, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, BOMs, routings, and engineering changes for accuracy.
• Create and maintain PDM/ERP part records and multilevel BOMs.
• Verify product structures match approved docs and complete planning fields.
• Process engineering changes while maintaining revision control.
• Maintain shop-order schedules and monitor material requirements.
• Track progress, identify risks, and communicate actions.
• Release complete product structures and ensure clear handoff to planning.
