Confidential Recruiting Partners seeks a Production Planning Manager to oversee scheduling, materials planning, inventory control, demand forecasting, and capacity planning in Boonton, NJ. The role collaborates with Production, Customer Service, Inventory, and Operations to optimize flow and meet delivery objectives.

This on-site position requires 5+ years in production or materials planning, strong Excel and ERP/MRP expertise, and a track record of continuous improvement in manufacturing

Qualifications

• Onsite in Boonton, NJ required.
• 5+ years of experience in production planning or related manufacturing operations.
• Strong forecasting and demand planning skills.
• Experience with cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems for planning and scheduling.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Hands-on experience with inventory management (RM/WIP/FG).
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
• Experience driving continuous improvement in planning and operations.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate manufacturing orders and planning activities in ERP/MRP systems.
• Analyze inventory discrepancies and support cycle counts and accuracy initiatives.
• Maintain BOMs, routings, and inventory parameters.
• Lead planning and scheduling meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor and optimize RM, WIP, and FG inventory levels.
• Develop reports and KPIs for inventory and production performance.
• Manage materials planning to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Develop and maintain production plans and schedules to meet demand.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy and efficiency.
• Track production performance and address shortages, delays, capacity constraints.
• Forecast production and material requirements based on demand and capacity.
